Foot & Ankle Workshop

with Robyn Okrant & Julia McDonald
Saturday, August 23 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm

$35 if registered by August 20, $40 thereafter

Stiff, cramped, or achy feet?

Did you know a combination of yoga and massage can help to alleviate your foot woes and stop those dogs from barking? Our feet are our bodies' foundation and we must keep them healthy, limber and strong in order to support the rest of our muscular-skeletal system. Misaligned feet and ankles can lead to knee pain, hip pain, back pain...even headaches.

Just as we must build strength and flexibility in our cores, we should pay our feet the same respect. Unhealthy shoes, pounding the pavement and intense exercise can all lead to problematic foot troubles. In this 2-hour workshop, Julia and Robyn will address how to stretch, massage and strengthen your feet and ankles. We'll cover toe and arch strength, as well overall foot/ankle flexibility. Healthy feet will support your healthy body whether during your yoga practice, your busy workday, chasing the kids around the house, or your athletic endeavors.

At the end of this workshop, you will leave with a simple daily routine which you can utilize to build and maintain healthy, happy feet.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.  Register here.

Robyn Okrant

Robyn began practicing yoga due to chronic back pain and quickly discovered that her practice not only alleviated her physical discomfort, but brought a new sense of joy, peace, strength and contentment to her life. The most important aspect of her classes lies in honoring and challenging the abilities of each student and celebrating their uniqueness. Read Robyn's full bio here.
