No one likes to talk about it, few pregnancy books even mention it, and most childbirth classes avoid the topic, but sometimes pregnancy ends in tragic loss: a stillbirth or newborn death. According to current statistics, about twenty-eight thousand infants a year die before their first birthday, and about twenty-seven thousand U.S.pregnancies end during the second half of pregnancy, known as stillbirth. At this event, a mom who had a waterbirth homebirth with her stillborn child will share her story of healing. Also attending will be CNM Amy Willen of A Woman's Place, a local doula, and a childbirth expert, all of whom have helped families through pregnancy and newborn loss. There will also be time for others to share their stories or fears about pregnancy and infant loss, if desired.

Cancellation Policy:

Full payment reserves your space. No refunds are given for cancellations. If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, your payment is applied to a studio credit that you can use for any Bloom Yoga Studio product or service. Studio credits expire one year from date of purchase. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, you forfeit your payment. In the event that Bloom must cancel a workshop a full credit or refund will be issued.
