Breastfeeding Basics

Breastfeeding is a beautiful, natural part of new motherhood, but that doesn’t mean it always comes easily! This workshop is designed to help expectant families learn all they need to know to get off to a good start with breastfeeding, avoiding many of the common problems. Learn about the benefits of nursing for mom, baby, family, employers, community, and environment. Plan ahead – find out what you can do before baby is born to prepare for a successful nursing relationship, and learn how to nurture a good nursing relationship right from the start. Malik will prepare you as a couple for the early postpartum period and let you know what to expect from your breast fed baby.

Malik’s work as a doula and parent educator has enabled her to find and live her passion – helping parents and children. Cancellation Policy:

Full payment reserves your space. No refunds are given for cancellations. If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, your payment is applied to a studio credit that you can use for any Bloom Yoga Studio product or service. Studio credits expire one year from date of purchase. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, you forfeit your payment. In the event that Bloom must cancel a workshop a full credit or refund will be issued.
