| Julia Harvey
Julia Harvey McDonald graduated from the Soma Institute, National School of Clinical Massage Therapy, in early 2002 and has since worked as a therapist in a variety of settings and as an instructor for three years. Her practice focuses on treatment of everyday chronic pain as well as pain from newly injured tissue from overuse or athletic activity. She recommends occasional sessions of Thai massage for the purpose of opening up the hips, detoxifying the body, and identifying muscular imbalances. As a long-time student of yoga, Julia works hard to understand the role of breath, body mechanics, and bone alignment in the healing process.
