85 hour Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training Schedule
"Bloom's teacher training was a transformative experience for me. With a manageable training schedule and highly skilled, quality instructors, I feel I've received everything I needed to begin teaching the prenatal classes I came to Bloom to learn how to teach.

Community Class Teaching
Meets one additional day (either Sunday at 4:30pm or Wednesday at 6:30pm), to be scheduled at trainee's convenience
We believe the best learning takes place over time with repeated exposure to key concepts and plenty of time for hands-on experiential work. By dedicating five months to the study of how to work with women in the childbearing year, you will come away from our program with confidence and a solid understanding of how to serve this specialty population.
The only additional requirement beyond the above is for each trainee to observe 10 yoga classes (7 prenatal and 3 Mom & Baby). Four of the prenatal classes must be taught by Lead Trainers, while the remainder of classes may be observed elsewhere in the community. 5 Complimentary Classes are included in the cost of tuition for the Bloom observations. Following the observations, trainees submit a written response noting sequencing details, prop usage, theme, and other observations from the teacher trainee’s perspective. This is a wonderful and very helpful assignment, and always a favorite with our graduates!
Attendance PoliciesTrainees are expected to attend all scheduled training sessions as detailed above. Trainees may miss one session without requiring a make-up, and will still be eligible to receive certificate of completion. Any additional sessions missed must be made up hour-for-hour. Trainee needing to make up hours must register for an approved workshop at an additional cost. Trainee may also schedule a private make-up session to receive a condensed version of missed content at a rate of $100/hour. Should trainee miss more than 3 scheduled sessions, he/she may not be eligible to receive a certificate.
Yoga Alliance RequirementsBloom is a Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS) through Yoga Alliance. Graduates of Bloom's 85-hour Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training program will be eligible to receive the Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) designation.
Note: Upon completion of the required coursework, Prenatal Teacher Training graduates are required by Yoga Alliance to teach 30 hours of prenatal yoga classes in order to be eligible for the RPYT designation.
