Full-Time Studio Manager Position

Established family-owned yoga studio on Chicago's North Side seeks friendly, professional,customer-service oriented full-time Studio Manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Oversees all daily operations of the studio to ensure a terrific client experience

  • Manage staff, including hiring front desk staff, yoga teachers, and massage therapist

  • Work in partnership with Studio Owner regarding strategic decisions for studio

  • Coordinate scheduling of classes, workshops, trainings, and events

  • Maintain Mindbody software data and handle troubleshooting and updates to syste

  • Manage maintenance issues, inventory, and upkeep of space to keep it clean, beautiful, and fully functional

  • Order consumables and store products

  • Field Event/Workplace yoga inquiries

  • Drive marketing efforts, including website updates, newsletter creation & social media posts

  • Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention, and loyalty

 

 

Covid requirements

  • Studio Manager must provide proof of full vaccination (required of all clients and staff)

  • Masks are currently required at all times in the studio space for all clients and staff

 

 

Schedule

  • Studio Manager is currently required to work front desk on the following shifts: Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri from 8:30am – 5pm (note – this schedule may adjust in the future)

  • Additional work hours to be scheduled at Studio Manager’s convenience and/or based on evolving needs of staff and clients

  • Candidate should also have flexibility to work in-person and be available remotely during evening and weekend hours, and may be required to work more than 8 hours a day and/or 40 hours per week during peak activity periods

  • Bloom prioritizes work-life balance and taking ample time off to recharge; Studio Manager role will involve self-scheduling and adjusting to accommodate shift changes, and Studio Manager is expected to manage their own time working and time off to find an appropriate and effective balance

 


Required Qualifications

  • Previous management and administrative experience

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat

  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, harmoniously with co-workers and clients

  • Proficiency with PC and web-based applications

  • Attention to detail, enthusiasm, friendliness, sense of humor, ability to multi-task and manage timelines

  • Calm demeanor and ability to handle challenges with professionalism, respect, and grace

  • Commitment to health and happiness in your own life


Desired Qualities

  • Experience with Mindbody, Zoom, Wix, and Constant Contact (or other similar email newsletter platforms)

  • Experience with Google 

  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram and various social media platforms

 

 

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience and to be discussed during interview process. Additional benefits include complimentary yoga classes and complimentary monthly massage, as well as discount on store items.
