Ash Samoska
Throughout Ash’s life, yoga has been a constant, inviting the balance of effort and ease in a world that so often asks us to push harder. She often returns to Patanjali’s sutra 2.46, “Sthira sukham asanam”: The posture is steady and at ease. For Ash, yoga is neither forcing discipline nor collapsing into softness, but rather the living meeting of the two.
Drawing on her years of experience as a kindergarten teacher, Ash brings the same care and intention to the yoga studio, creating a supportive, inclusive environment in which students are encouraged to explore their bodies with curiosity, respect, and compassion. Her creative, alignment-based classes challenge the body while honoring individual needs through thoughtful modifications and prop use. She believes yoga is for every body.
As an RPYT (registered prenatal yoga teacher), Ash is especially passionate about supporting students through pregnancy and postpartum, offering space for connection, strength, and grounding during one of life’s most transformative seasons.
Her classes invite students to tune into the beating of the heart and the depth and cadence of the breath, and to cultivate a deeper sense of self-trust and acceptance. She looks forward to holding space for you, and breathing and moving with you, on the mat.
