When Carrie Waller was in her fifties, she took her first yoga class . . . it was love at first class. Carrie quickly became a passionate, dedicated practitioner of yoga and meditation. Around the same time, she decided to act on a long-time goal of completing her master’s degree. Carrie enrolled in an MA program at DePaul University in Chicago where her studies focused on yoga and contemplative practices to support healthy aging. In conjunction with the masters program, Carri completed her yoga teacher training at Yogaview Chicago. Carrie's passion is combining traditional evidence-based learning with the practice of yoga and meditation to empower learners to think more expansively about how to live a life filled with good health, meaning and purpose at any age.
