Danielle Llevada
Danielle joined Bloom in 2024, looking to connect more deeply with the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood community—and has loved every minute of it. She first rolled out a yoga mat in college, hoping to balance years of dance with a more mindful approach to movement and breath. What began as a way to slow down and stretch quickly became a lifelong practice in staying present in a fast-paced world.
No matter what brings someone to the studio, Danielle is committed to helping maintain the warm, accessible atmosphere Bloom has nurtured for years. Whether she’s greeting you at the front desk or diving into a creative project, she leads with curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
Outside of Bloom, Danielle is a writer and performer with a love for all things storytelling. She earned her degree in Communication from Northwestern University and was awarded the Fletcher Undergraduate Research Award for developing a TV pilot exploring themes of depression and escapism. Currently, she’s co-creating Last Song on Earth—a post-apocalyptic musical with fellow NU grads—bringing it to festivals and readings across the country. She also writes for a new sci-fi audio drama currently in production and works as an actor in the Chicago theater scene.
When she’s not writing or rehearsing, you’ll likely find Danielle listening to her vinyl collection, tending to her houseplants, or trying to negotiate with her grumpy (but lovable) dachshund, Mink.
